Firstly. Picture from yesterday afternoon of a very content cat in a sunny spot!
This morning I decided it was time to decide what furniture needed to go in my sitting room and to start getting some pictures on the wall. I sorted through the pictures and sort of decided what was going where. Then I thought I should try and get in that crammed room and see if o could reach some of my boxes. It was a struggle but I managed to fine and remove five. The fact that I have already used up most of the space I have made five seem a struggle, but as there are probably still way more than that to find it needed to be started! So, a chair removed and a small table and two of the nest of tables will go. Also the screen with photos in that I really love will have to go as I just haven’t got anywhere for it. I will remove the photos tomorrow, maybe!
Anyway, it is now beginning to feel more like home. The ornaments need rearranging as I have a lot mor somewhere.
I still need to find the shelves for that metal display unit and the tables and screen are going.

A cats life is so good!
ReplyDeleteI’d say that’s a pretty good day. The room looks so much better now you’ve got it sorted, and the pics on the walls make it really homely. Finding places for five boxes of “stuff” is pretty good going considering how limited your space is. Just need to find nooks and crannies for another ten boxes and you’ll be done 😂 It’s a real shame you still have to get rid of bits and pieces of furniture, but if there’s no space it has to be. It’s still sad though. Specially stuff like your picture screen. None of us like to get rid of special things, but needs must I suppose.
The new shed looks really nice. You should definitely commandeer part of the floor space before Darren gets some of his stuff in there.
It seems the charity shop people will get to know you well soon. I think it’s destined in the stars that you should keep charity shops going single handily 😂
I hope your night is a better tonight too 😴😴
Yes, I think it has been a pretty good day, tiring though!
ReplyDeleteI was pleased in the end to manage to keep my French style chairs as I really like them.
Have hauled another couple of boxes out this evening, still have several things thatI know I haven’t found yet!
The charity shop pile is growing by the minute!
