A quieter day

When I am sitting in the lounge now Pandora will occasionally sit on the other chair. If I go out she still disappears under the bed!

I went to the shop to get a jiffy bag as Anya had left something behind, I couldn’t send it until later anyways the counter doesn’t open until ten. I was getting the package ready when there was someone at the door, a lady from the congregation brought some tulips and just wanted to know if all was well.
Bit dark in the kitchen, they are pink and in a temporary vase! I went and got the package sent and when I got home put pencil to paper again!

It was a miserable wet day but after lunch I decided to go for a walk anyway. The cafe nearby is called The Birnam Oak Cafe and this is the sign.
I walked in a different direction along the road and came to a different path.
I walked around a bit but had to turn back when it got really muddy.

A different misty view.

Nice old fashioned mileage markers.

I love this little home!
I have never seen such a tidy graveyard. Even the grass inside the plots are trimmed.

Tina arrived dead on 2pm with only 2% of juice left in the battery. She went straight into the office for a zoom session. After that we unloaded her very full car and tried to get things out of the way for the removal men tomorrow.
I had made another stew and we had that when her call was finished.
A quiet evening to get ready for a manic day tomorrow.

  1. Hopefully Pandora will settle down to her normal self once the move is finished. Tomorrow is going to stress her out a bit though. But I’m betting it’ll be just as stressful for you. Not much longer now and things will start to get back to normal.
The tulips are nice, and the congregation seem to be keen for you all to settle in ok. Tulips today and veg the other day. Both nice in their own ways πŸ™‚ I really like your drawing of the tulips too. All the lovely vases you have and they’re in a Kilner jar πŸ˜‚
Seeing the postbox in the cafe sign pic makes me wonder if there are any creative crotcheters making postbox hats around there. I like those.
The sign about the dogs and the neatly cut lawns in the graveyard show that they care how things look up there. It’s a pity it’s not more like that down here.
I like the little house too. Great facias. It’s so pretty up there. I feel very jealous 😊
Tina definitely cut it fine with the power for the car. Good job you have a charger at the house.
You’ll both need a good nights sleep tonight. Good luck with it all tomorrow 🀞🀞🀞
