Lunch in Pitlochry

This morning Tina was unpacking and displaying her ornaments and I was on a mission to reduce the boxes of sentimental stuff. We were going to Pitlochry to have lunch with Tina’s aunt but we had to wait until the tree surgeons cutting down an elm tree had a break as the branches were falling on the road we go out by. But we did get going in good time. The first picture has got a tree surgeon on, honestly! Then some photos taken on our way.

Tina’s aunt wasn’t feeling too well today but she had set out a lovely buffet style lunch. We enjoyed our meal and stayed chatting for a while. We drove up to the dam as Tina wanted to get Darren a replacement ruler! We had coffee and cake and took some photos.

Then one more on the way home.
We both carried on with sorting and rearranging before having tea. A relaxing evening now.

  1. Well it looks like you had a nice day. A bit of thinning down, and a nice trip with lovely scenery.
I can just see the tree surgeon, but I doubt I would’ve done if I didn’t know one was there 😊
The dam looks really nice. They have so much good stuff up there. Including rulers apparently 😊
Definitely the way most days should be. A little time doing the odd chores, a trip out including lunch, so you don’t have to cook, and some lovely scenery. Feet up watching tv. What more could you want? πŸ™‚ With any luck you’ll get a good nights sleep to finish the day off.

  2. Yes, the day turned out quite well. My off day yesterday spurred me on to make some changes, not so much changes as letting go!
The scenery is lovely and the dam was very lively today.
I think we will call in on the coffee morning tomorrow.
