We got away fairly promptly this morning, the weather was set fair, and after a little hunting Anya found a parking area at the top of the cliff at Cayton Bay. The walk down was ridiculously steep, but I managed to get down if a little way behind the fitter, younger ones! Isobel is always happy on the beach, and today the weather was kind too.

We stayed for a couple of hours, the walk up the hill nearly finished me of, I set off before Anya and Isobel.

Anya helped up get settled in and had a bit of lunch before she set off home. We had a  go at making a fruit jelly after we had been over to the arcade and play park.
We took another walk over to the arcade this evening because Isobel had noticed when the prize collection kiosk was open! She got a dream catcher key ring.
Little lady is showered and in bed now, time to rest up for another full day tomorrow!

  1. Nice weather and a good time on the beach is a great way to start the week. Shame it had to be down and up a cliff! The path might as well be a cliff, it looks damn steep to me and would make me puff a bit! The arcade is a much better option, and a bit flatter and nearer too. I'm sure you'll have a great time, both of you.......and uncle Darren at some point :-)
