I met up with my sister, the elderly ladies and Angie yesterday, Mike met Michelle and I for lunch and was my taxi in the afternoon while Michelle was at work. This morning Mike and I went to Flag Fen before I made my way home. The Just So festival was great, I will post a few pictures now, as I am pretty tired and it is getting late, but will try to choose a few more and tell you some of the fun activities tomorrow. The Yurt was pretty impressive and we had comfortable mattresses to sleep on.
We had a good wander round the first afternoon and we did a paw print quiz around the Spellbound Forest.
We went by the camp fire area, we did go to a couple of entertainment sessions there over the weekend.
I will leave it there for now, I am trying to catch up with Red Rock and feel really tired this evening!
Wow! The yurt is very impressive. It looks huge inside, a bit like the Tardis! I'd love one of those myself :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you're feeling knackered, you've had a busy week of it. I know you've got a busy couple of days now your back too, so take it easy with the feet up in front of the telly and catch up with your program. Bet it'll be nice sleeping in your own bed tonight.
It was good, and just a few drips made it through so not bad as there was plenty of rain to test it! Three episodes watched, but doubt I will manage three more before tomorrow's episode!
DeleteWe did not even know what a yurt was until earlier this year where we saw them on T.V programmes 4 in a bed. They do look great especially if you have kids, as you know I'm not a outside kind of person but would have given one a try in my younger days. No inside lol with a flush is a no, no for me. Very popular.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know what a yurt was either, it was spacious. The trek across to the loos was not a lot of fun, especially as it was so muddy! x
