I enjoyed the talk on cacti yesterday evening and it won’t surprise anybody tht I bought a couple!
I haven’t mentioned the jigsaw for a bit, I have been making the bee house and Darren has been trying to get a stereo working that was taken to the repair cafe. But we have both done some.I went into Perth this morning with Tina. She had a lunchtime meeting and parked about half a mile from the city centre. I found my way in okay, did a bit of shopping and had some lunch.Passed the cathedral.
And this rather strange scaffolding.I went a bit off course on the way back to the car park so saw this large green space.Took a photo of this tree as I liked the trunk! You can’t go far up here without finding a gradient, even in the city.Tina hadn’t messaged so I went and had a drink in the Black Watch museum cafe. I go back to the museum and grounds another time. You get drivers who can’t read, or just don’t care, everywhere. There were plenty of spaces.I am off to see a singer this evening called Iona Lane. Will finish with a photo from Africa, nineteen years ago now, that I have no recollection of. The only time I was near sear was when I travelled to the slave castle.

I like the cacti. Very colourful. Only little too, so don’t take up any space 😊
ReplyDeleteConsidering you’re both doing other things the jigsaw is getting there. It’s good that it’s not so quick as it’ll last longer.
Perth looks a nice place. You have a lot of nice places up there, even though you do still get idiot car drivers who can’t park 😊
That scaffolding is unusual but if they’re repointing then it probably gives better access to more of the wall.
You’re pretty good at finding your way around places, so the odd bit of drifting off course isn’t bad. I’ve got no sense of direction!
The Black Watch museum sounds like an interesting place to visit another time. Add it to the growing list.
I’ve seen a lot of your Ghana photos. I don’t recall that one at all. Strange what we forget isn’t it?
Enjoy your evening of singing.
The second cactus is going to flower too, so that will be nice.
ReplyDeleteYes, Perth is an interesting city, finding my way around, bit by bit.
The car park Tina was in today was £1.30 for five hours! We have clocked that one if we fancy a day in the city!
I do want to go back to the Black Watch, so definitely on the list.
I will let you know about the singer tomorrow.
Blimey £1.60 for 5 hours is very cheap!
ReplyDelete£1.30 even. If I had a brain I'd be dangerous!
