Yesterday evening I sat and embroidered a label for the quilt I made at the class. It seems that putting labels on them in the norm and they actually sell sheets of them for the purpose.
This morning I felt a little better, although didn't sleep that well and was up at 6 am. Didn't want to disturb Darren and Tina so I sat and wrote some letters. About 9 am I went and posted the letters then spent about an hour and a half tidying up the front garden and putting in some plants. I cut down all the dead daffodil leaves so it looks much tidier now. I also love the 'ladybird poppy'.
I have become a bit of an auction addict since I came here and today they had what they called a bedside table but I think it was probably a stand for a bowl and jug as it has a marble top and is quite high. I need to organise my cooking area and it looked like it would be a perfect fit. I won the bid and here it is at it arrived home.
And after a little tlc.
It is late 19th century so I will make sure not to damage it at all.
Eurovision tonight, I usually watch it but rarely pick the winner!
The embroidery is very colourful, garden looks very pretty and the cupboard very stylish, I'm sure it will be very useful. Lovely colour wood. Pleased your feeling a little better. Xx
