Not a bad day weather wise, although a bit cool and grey first thing. I did a very small amount of gardening and trimmed a few leaves on the bonsai trees which are looking pretty good this year.
I spent a lot of the day doing the web quilting on the quilt. I have finished that part but have an awful lot of finishing off to do before I think about the binding. I cut up some old bread as Tina had said that we could go for a walk later in the afternoon and we decided on The Mere, which is beautiful and more importantly, flat! The cafe was about to close so we had a cuppa and sat outside where there were geese with goslings, it was delightful. One white goose was very insistent that it wanted some of the bread that it had seen in the bags!
One of the  families.
The dad wanted the bread, but kept hissing at us to keep us away from the babies.
A close up of one of the goslings.
Three cuties!
Tina talking to the animals!!
As we walked round the lake we saw a large family of ducklings.
Then a family of Canada geese.
A regal swan.
Plus a funky tree trunk......
Back to thread hiding now!
