Much quieter day today. Up early to let Darren out as we only have two keys and Tina and I were both going to be out for some of the day. Tina was collected at 8.15 am to go to York for her interview with the Arch Bishop, this the meeting which decides whether she will be priested at the end of the month as planned. I did a bit of washing and tidying before heading out in not great weather, wet and windy! Said hello at the craft shop and studio before taking a walk into town. Then made my way to the community centre for the button class. The garden there is beginning to take shape, they have a gardening class on Saturdays now.
Only Linda and I today, she was getting on with her Sherlock picture. She is off to Turkey next week and goes to a Sherlock Holmes pub there, so she is making this as a gift to take with her.
I started a canvas, you will be very surprised to know that it is of a .......................
.........spider!! I called in at the studio on the way home as the plate a drew on with a Sharpie pen was being fired. It has an etched effect, not easy to see in the photo but I think you will be able to get the idea.
Back home the locks have been changed and we had news last night that Tina's car has been found, but won't be back home for a while. So, an amazing job by the police in recovering so many of the stolen goods.
Let's hope the car is not damaged. Good the locks have been dealt with and hope tina had a successful day and returns with good news.
ReplyDeleteYes, good news there, the car needs locks changing as the other set of keys weren't in the car. Police didn't think there was much damage. x
