This morning I went off out, very cold as there was a substantial ground frost today. I went into the studio to mark a plate with a Sharpie pen as the small add on I did burnt off but left the pattern indented. I did double thickness lines this time and we will be interested to see what sort of effect is left.
I had a wander into town and there were two of the living statues standing together which looked quite impressive.
When I came home I got on with sewing all of the quilt together ready for backing and quilting. But I need to buy the wadding and the backing material, probably tomorrow.
Darren managed to get home in time and get parked, so we all went up the road to see the Tour de Yorkshire go by. This was one of the leaders
Riders and bike cars making their way past us.
A good shot of the main group.
We cut through and watched some of the finish down on the front. If you look closely you can see some riders arriving.
Bradley Wiggins car!!

Lots of press and tv and this crane, mush have got good shots from there.
I have done a bit of piecing for the funky quilt, quite a complex procedure and I managed to cut the backing material wrongly, which was a great start!
Off out to have a meal with the ceramic studio ladies this evening.
