I'll start with a picture of the sky last night, which was different again and dramatic.
Today, apart from going with Darren and Tina to get some shopping, and then a mad dash back because I had bought a jacket and left it on the trolley! Luckily it had been handed in. The rest of the day has been taken up with the quilt. I did the actual quilting and making the border for about four hours before we went out. Then had to iron, trim etc and then over three hours hand stitching the inside of the border down. I had bought a very expensive 'walking foot' recommended for quilting. It came with no instructions and there is no way we would have worked out how it was fitted unless Tina had looked it up on you tube!! I had dinner with Darren and Tina, have done a bit of ironing and am just in time to settle down to watch Safe House. Anyway, here is me with the quilt, all completed.
A close up of part of the quilt showing the back and the edging.
Pretty sky tonight to finish today's post.
