This morning I was a bit later up than usual and took my time getting ready. Went out about 10.45 am, had got my sketching stuff ready and made a flask of coffee. I had decided to get the open top bus to the spa end and go to the esplanade via the cliff lift then take a walk heading away from the town. It was showery, but more sunshine that showers and the wind was not too bad. Lovely flower bed at the top of the cliff as I started the walk.
There was a bed of forget me nots, blue, white and pink, very pretty.
The clock tower on the cliff top is quite impressive. All on it's own it really stands out.
I walked a little way, so took a view further along and when I was making my way down to the shore.
Passed these steps on the way back to the spa, might try them another day!!
The pirate ship is out again now for the season I imagine.
This door was boarded with quite a funky panel.
I did stop mid walk to do a sketch, I was pleased I made the effort to go out today.
Been doing a bit of sorting this afternoon, filling the recycling bin up!
