It was bright this morning but when I took stuff out to the bin it was deceivingly chilly. I did some chores, top of the list was my shower room/Pandoras room! I started getting my things together to go out and do a sketch. I could not find the pens I had used to draw the cards yesterday, I did eventually after searching just about everywhere! I did set out and walked to the place I had found the other day, the wind really was biting but I was quite sheltered on the bench where I was going to sketch. I only took a little travel set of paints, I could do with getting a few replacement paint pans. It got cloudy on and off but stayed dry until I was heading home.
They weren’t busy so I hung around and waited, so got it straight from the oven! It was very tasty.
May write a couple of letters this evening. Thinking of staying up later than usual tonight as I’d like to see Claudia’s first chat show.
It’s been a nice day here, but a bit chilly like you say. Roll on summer and global warming 😂 ☀️
ReplyDeleteI’m pleased it’s not just me that forgets where they put things. I can use something in the morning and not find it in the afternoon, let alone the next day! The sketch is really nice though, so well worth the effort. I bet that there a lot of things worth sketching around where you are. It’ll be a lovely pass time in the summer. Sitting somewhere with a lovely view with the sun shining on you. The closest I’ll get to it is the park 😊
I quite like sourdough bread occasionally myself. I did used to make it once but never get around to it these days. Is Tina fully better now?
I do love the idea of the pizza van. Nice and hot and fresh. I’m not overly a pizza person, but I think even I’d enjoy it.
I didn’t know Claudia had a chat show. I assume it’s on the bbc? You’ll have to let me know what it was like.
Yes, plenty to sketch, so should get back into in and start getting another collection of artwork to have to find a home for!
ReplyDeleteThe pizza van is great I was chatting to the lads, they have been coming to Birnam since last August and do have regular customers, so looks like they will be here regularly.
