Quieter day

I will start with a photo that Darren sent when he was leaving work yesterday, he knows o like different skies.

This morning I wrote some Easter cards and also one to get my address changed on a subscription and got them in the post. After lunch I walked into Dunkeld to get some air, had a drink while is was there and bought a couple of bits in one of the shops. There was a boat out on the river with fishermen, I hadn’t spotted any before.
I did a sketch of the flowers that Tina got form me, a bit daunting!
I received a quiz sheet today, rising money for Parkinson’s UK, they are very good, this one is all household items. I have worked out more than half, it means I didn’t do any patchwork which is what I intended,
Tina hasn’t felt too well today but hopefully she will feel better for a service in the morning.

  1. I really like the first pic. When. I first looked I thought you’d taken it and I was trying to work out where. I must learn to read the text too 😊
A bit of an easier day for you today, you should have more of them. It must be nice up there for the fishermen. Lots of rivers and lakes. I used to love fishing. I used to spend days at it 😊 I quite like a bit of fly fishing off a boat too, as long as it’s a calm day. I’m a fair weather sailor!
I like your sketch. I can see what you mean about daunting. I wouldn’t have a clue where to start. You’ve either got talent or you haven’t, and I definitely haven’t. So I always enjoy seeing your artwork.
You’re pretty good at those quiz sheets. Is it like the lions quiz?
That’s the joy of being retired, you don’t have to stick with what you intended to do. No rules to stick to, your time is your own 😊
I hope Tina feels well enough for the morning. Nothing catching I hope 😷😊

  2. I think I needed a quieter day, I have been feeling very tired.
Darren called it a funky sky when he messaged, I agreed.
I haven’t noticed many anglers here, perhaps they re waiting for the better weather.
I sketched the flowers as I haven’t done one outside for a couple of days. They help me keep my eye into to speak!
