I have had a day in today, it has rained pretty much all day and I had no need to go out. Took a photo through the window as I like the misty hills.
I did quite a bit of housework, organised things in the kitchen as we now have several over filled boxes for the charity shop. Did some general cleaning and hoovering, then had a sit down with a very happy cat!
Then I made some leek and potato soup for lunch. We had bought the leeks in Aberfeldy and they had a particularly pungent smell, so needed cooking quickly!
Looked out of the back door, noticed that the gutter had a leak but took another photo too.
Sat with Tina for a while then got on with dinner as we were having it early as Tina was going to an evening service. I made a quick template and then started cutting out the patch pockets for the jeans. I can’t get to the sewing box so that is as far as I have got at the moment.
Pottery throw down later, we will watch it when Tina gets home.
That’s a lovely view from your window. Even with all that mist it still looks good.

Pandora looks very happy that you stopped for a while. She’s easily pleased. Has she totally settled in now?
I’ve not had leek and potato soup for a long time. That’s one of my favourites. May have to get some leeks and potatoes tomorrow.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the jeans with the patch pockets. I think they’ll look really good. Once you can get to the sewing box that is!

It was a quieter day but got some jobs done that needed doing and some veg used that was begging to be used and started thinking about doing some sewing. Maybe tomorrows job

Pandora seems really settled now which is good. She still runs a mile if anyone appears or the bell goes, but that is quite normal!
