Just pottered this morning but managed to have two dishes fall out of the cupboard when I wa trying to put a pore away and spectacularly broke two of Tina’s mugs that she uses daily, o got lunch for twelve so that Darren had a good Mel before driving home. He left just after one and we had a message when he had a stop but haven’t from him yet this evening,
This afternoon Tina took me to the garden centre, I needed a new fork, a garden broom, some bonsai soil and general compost plus a new larger pot for my Christmas type tree. Got them plus some gardening gloves and a reduced plant. When we got back Tina cut back a couple of bushes from the wall long where she drives out and I but back a bush that was growing across the path I go along beside the church. Took one photo at the garden centre and a couple on the way back.
Tina wanted to call in at M&S and there was a Costa next door so we hd a drink. Mine was a macha latte. We have had dinner and will be watching the Throw Down semi final this evening.

Well looking on the bright side, if she uses them daily then she was due for a change π Can’t be helped. I hope Darren’s trip home goes well and there’s not too much traffic.
ReplyDeleteA trip to the garden centre is always good, albeit a little expensive at times. Did you have time for tea and cake? π Just got further into the blog and see you did have drink and cake, just not there π I go in Costa and keep seeing the matcha latte advertised. What’s it like?
The scenery is so nice there compared to here. I do envy you living up there.
Enjoy Throw Down, with a cat.
We were going to go in Home Bargains to find big mugs but although there were people inside the door was locked!
ReplyDeleteI like the macha lattes but I think it might be n acquired taste, I first had them in Bemora, a cafe in Hornsea. I like it better with oat milk.
We only had a drink but we have had some banana bred that Tina brought back from church.
I quite like oat milk. I sometimes have a flat white with oat milk. I might give it a try if they do it with oat milk. I could become a convert π
