I had a lie in this morning as I have been feeling very tired this week. Had a shower when I got up and then had a walk up to Freeport. I had a couple of plates that Caroline wanted at the potteries so I took them up, had a chat with Rob and had lunch there. I walked back as well which is more walking than I have done in a bit. This fuchsia bush was lovely.
Polly’s Path is looking a bit autumnal.I called in to see Sher on my way back and she is going to come round and see me on Monday, I want her to see how my plants and prop squad cuttings are doing.Tina had got me a lovely bunch of flowers which I arranged when I came home.
Did a bit of the jigsaw with Darren this afternoon and have been watching Strictly this evening.
We are all going to Driffield tomorrow which will make a change.
Even on most of your “quiet” days you end up doing a fair bit. It’s not often you have a proper lazy day. You should definitely arrange more lie ins. They’re good for you 😊 Just pottering about like you did this morning, when you eventually got up, is nice. I think having lunch out also emphasises you’re having a restful day. You just need lots more of them 😊
ReplyDeleteThe fuchsia does look nice. It’s one of the very few flowers I actually recognise when I see them. This may surprise you, but I once sketched a scene very much like your pic! It was a very very long time ago, and I really don’t remember why I did.
I do like Polly’s Path. It’s just something about walking under the trees and between the hedgerows. I should have been a country boy really 👨🌾
That’s a nice bunch of flowers from Tina. Very thoughtful.
I hope you don’t miss out on any bargains tomorrow, or worse still your sausage baps! 😳🙂
An easy day, I didn’t rush when I was walking either. I like fuchsias the flowers are look ballerinas.
ReplyDeleteThe jigsaw is over half way done now, quite a tricky one.
I like Polly’s path, I wonder who Polly was.
I enjoyed Strictly, it was movie week so some fantastic costumes.
