I was up a bit later but was dressed nd ready to open the gate just after eight, Noel parks outside the gate and as he is working at the back of the house it is convenient for him.I did spend a little time on the jigsaw and then took another three carrier bags to the charity shop.,I went to Botany hoping to see Sher nd spend my voucher but sore Haley who said she would be back at lunch time. Set about doing some housework when I got home but the hoover didn’t hold power for very long so had to stop! After lunch I went back to Botany nd got another plant with my voucher, you can never have too many, right? Quite a colourful begonia call Firework.
Noel, the painter has finished outside now so will be painting inside next week. The large bay looks really good now and it really needed a lot of repair work before he got to the painting.
More bags to the charity shop. They probably rely on you now to keep them stocked up 🙂 It good though when you’re on one of your decluttering binges. Problem is it’s not so good when you’re on one of your buying lots of stuff from boot sales binges 😂
ReplyDeleteThe new plant is very nice, and as you say you can never have too many, unless you run out of room! But until then it’s good. I wish I could have a lot like you, but I know they’d all die, so it’s not fair on them. I’ll just have to look at your pics 🙂

It’d be a shame if Freeport did have to close down because of lack of businesses willing to set up there, and worse still the ones there now leaving. It’s like that in most places now though. Hopefully everything will pick up again one day. Labour out and Reform in would definitely help!
He’s done a grand job on the outside of the house. It looks so much better now. The large French door bay looks like new to be honest, and it opens 😊
A little visit in the morning before you dive into the multitude of other jobs you’ve no doubt got lined up will be an easy start to the day. Hopefully without painful or achy legs 🤞

I love the buildings and the feeling at Freeport so would be really sad if it folded.
The bay does look great, it has taken him a good few days nd I expect he’ll be another week doing the inside.
