I was up quite early and went to post a card before eight so that I would be here when Noel arrived to carry on with the painting. I popped out to the local shop twice as I forgot to buy what I went for the first time!
Noel made a start on my sitting room window and Tina’s office window today.
I went along to Botany to see Sher and collected the next cutting to propagate, well three cuttings of three different fittonias. I have just photographed one and also my little badge, she had some made for people who are attempting to root cuttings.Views through out to be painted windows!
I have spent quite a bit of time today making a start on the boot sale jigsaw.
Looking out of the laundry window I was watching a squirrel. Hi tail is just about visible in front of the pink flowers, he was burying something in one of the pots. Then he went onto the wire chair frame. The zoom is limited on the phone and it was through a double glazed window.
Noel painted the porch today, which wasn’t actually on his list, it really looks good.
He really is doing a good job. He is going to paint the inside of my sitting room and Tina’s office tomorrow.
I’m glad it’s not just me that goes to the shop for something and then forgets to buy it 😊 Thank heavens for lists!
ReplyDeleteYour pic of the painter up his ladder gives a great scale as to what he’s up against. They’re big old windows to paint. He’ll be ready for retirement by the time he’s finished 🙂 He’s doing a lot more than is on the “list”. He’s obviously an old fashioned painter who doesn’t like a job half done. The porch does look a lot better now.
That’s a cute little badge. You’ll have to make things grow now as you’re an official member!
It took me ages to spot the tail in the first squirrel pic. I got there in the end though. The second one was a lot easier 😊 I bet he buried a nut in the pot 😂
The jigsaw is coming along. I bet Darren will add a few bits this evening.
Don’t forget to charge the iPad this evening 🙄🙂
It really is a mammoth task for one man, but he is getting and being thorough, it makes the house look even better.
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute little badge, I will do mu best to keep things growing!
The jigsaw is fairly tricky, but it needs to test your observation skills, too easy and it is not so enjoyable.
I was so pleased the cat was indoors otherwise I would have been going out to frighten the squirrel away!
