Bit of variety

Tina left just before eight and I was waiting for Noel, the painter who arrived at 8.15am. He got started and I sorted out washing and then went to the banking hub, with my new earrings of course. Did a bit of shopping and was soon home. I fed the cakes which are darkening nicely now and then spent some time sorting buttons. They had been left since I did the button art class earlier in the year.

I had a walk round the garden and took some photos, some nice autumnal colour at the moment.

This afternoon I went out to clear the bushes and weeds from the front bed by Tina’s office. The first picture wasn’t very good as I didn’t get the window in and that had a bush and weeds over the sill so impossible for Noel to paint it. I must have worked for getting on for three hours and was pretty worn out by the time it was accessible! The garden bin is now filled to the brim so good that it will be emptied tomorrow.

Noel is doing a grand job with the painting, and now he has painted the silos it really makes a difference.

He is starting onTinas office and my sitting room tomorrow so will make sure they are ready in the morning.

  1. You were very organised this morning. Did the ladies like your new earrings?
I’d forgotten about the cakes. Good job you don’t. They get tastier by the day!
That’s a lot of buttons! Very efficient sorting with trays of the right colour. You don’t do things by half 😊
It was a good day for taking pics. We had a lot of sun here too. It is all looking very nice and colourful in those pics.
The bushes don’t sound as fun as taking pics of nice flowers. But I suppose the6 have to be done too. Specially if they’re growing over the windows. Can’t stop the painter in his flow. What he’s done looks very good. It’s amazing the difference bit of paint makes. He seems to be getting on reasonable well now. Does he still think he’ll be there several weeks?
Supposed to be nice again tomorrow. More gardening?

  2. That was necessary gardening as he couldn’t have got to the window to paint it tomorrow if I had left it. Will see how I feel in the morning after todays labours. I will see how long he thinks he will be doing the painting tomorrow, I think he will get it done in another couple of weeks if the weather holds.
It has been a lovely day, the sun was really hot today.
