Visits day

Not a lot to say today really. Noel, the painter arrived before 8.30 am and did a bit of work outside first thing and then worked in Tina and Darren’s bedroom, finishing the window painting and he painted the shutters too. The shutters in that room still work, the ones in the kitchen don’t.

I went out for an hour to visit Bel this morning, she was feeling a bit off colour, she hasn’t got a lot of energy and more and more doesn’t want to do anything. She was going to cancel her hair appointment today, partly how she was feeling and the weather wasn’t too good either.
I did pop out again before lunch as I wanted to check the date of a workshop with Sher. I didn’t stop long as she was pricing and displaying new stock. She also gave me my prize for sending in a picture which she put on the website. I will have to decide what to get, I probably don’t need any more plants!

Jean came to visit me this afternoon, she is okay but still hoping they find someone to buy their house as she has seen a bungalow she would really like. Tina was back early afternoon and we had takeaway this evening,
I have my double jab in the morning so that’s something to look forward to.

  1. The painter is plodding on and will get there eventually. Looks like he’s making a nice job of it all. I like shutters. I think we should bring them back and have them in all houses.
Blimey, the way you describe Bel is the way I feel most of the time. She has a few years on me, so there’s no hope for me 🙂
The fact that you “probably” don’t “need” any more plants doesn’t actually mean you don’t. Go for it, you know you want one 😊
I hope Jean gets a buyer soon. Nothing worse than seeing the place you want and then someone else jumping in to buy it ☹️
I’ve not had any jabs for ages. They probably forgotten about me 💉
Hope you have your feet up.

  2. The painter is doing a good job, he will certainly be around for a while.
Yes, Bel is ninety three so she does pretty well all things considered.
I have got my feet up and the cat has gone off somewhere else now,
Jean had another viewing this evening so keeping fingers crossed for her.
