Small boot sale

We went to the boot sale as usual, the wind was bitterly cold and there weren’t many sellers or punters and no eating places either! So we texted Tina to say we would look round and come home and go to  Mondo and have breakfast together. We did both spend 50p, I bought some earrings and Darren bought a jigsaw.

What was interesting about the puzzle was the picture instructions on the back! We have never seen that before.
We went to Mondo when we got home and we all had the breakfast bagel, which was very filling!

I changed my bedding and started sorting the edge pieces of the puzzle before getting dinner which we were having earlier today. After dinner I wasn’t feeling too bright and was very tired. I got a throw and sat in my rocking chair, in the quiet and actually slept for almost two hours! Most unusual. I thought a bath would be good and was very organised, or so I thought, but as I put my head in the water the unlikely noise told me I had left my hearing aids in. Moved pretty quickly to get them out! I think all is well.
I put the milk bottles out and the latest subscription jigsaw had arrived.

Tv and cat company now.

  1. You pair of spendthrifts! A whole 50p each. No wonder this country is going to the dogs! The puzzle is odd. I’ve never seen one with picture instructions either. Never would have thought of it really.
I love the look of your breakfast. I bet it tasted as good as it looks too. It’s making my mouth water ๐Ÿ˜Š
You must have been tired to sleep that long. But you obviously needed it. You’ll be at 3am drinking tea now ๐Ÿ˜Š
I hope the hearing aids have been ok since their unexpected wash? I’m sure they make the good ones pretty waterproof as I’m sure head dunking is a common occurrence.
Nice picture on the new puzzle.

  2. I knew would be wanting one of those breakfasts, it had two sausages, two rashers of bacon, two hash browns a big square of halloumi and a fried egg! Had to dismantle it to eat it. It was very good.
We were pleased to get our bargains, hopefully it will be busier next week
Fingers crossed I am not having a cuppa at 3am.
