The boot sale was fairly small again today but our usual eating place was open which was good. I bought a lovely little travel clock and Darren put a new battery in it and it is going fine.
As we weren’t there long we came back via the se nd had hot chocolate. It was pretty chilly but a nice morning.
I had a chat with Anya and did a bit of sorting before getting lunch. I sat down for a bit and was doing a crossword so hd the standard lamp on and Pandora fur looked really red under the light.I did go out into the back garden today for a p bout an hour and a half and cleaned up a couple of beds and dead headed the dahlias which are still doing well.
I put a few bits in the jigsaw before getting dinner. Then after dinner I had a shower as I am off to the dentist tomorrow and it will take up a lot of the day as I will catch a but to Beverley and then another bus to Hull.

Definitely worth going to the boot sale today. That’s a lovely little clock. A proper travel clock. You’ll have to get some travelling in now ๐ Breakfast and a hot chocolate too. I can see why you like Sunday mornings.
ReplyDeleteI had to look twice at the pic of Pandora. I thought it was a different cat until I read the text. I quite like the reddy fur.
An hour and a half in the garden isn’t too long compared to some of your stints out there. You must be winding down for winter ๐
Tomorrow doesn’t sound like such a good day, and I doubt you’ll be getting any bargains either! Hope it all goes well though.
It is a lovely little clock and zips into the case, so it was worth going, and we did have a sausage bap as our place was open so the hot chocolate was an extra treat!
ReplyDeleteI was glad to denied the dahlias as they may get a few more blooms yet before the forests arrive.
Will be an adventure tomorrow anyway!
