I nipped to the bank when they opened this morning as I was catching the bus to Beverley just after 9.30am.I had n appointment to have the hearing aids checked as it has been a year since I got them. I actually had another hearing test and there was just a slight deterioration so she tweaked the settings. I will have a yearly hearing test to make any adjustments. I had a bit of lunch out and a wander round the town. I spotted this jumper that I really liked so looked inside. I would want several jumpers for the price so that one will be. ‘Would have been nice’ moment.
I went out into the garden this afternoon and spent a couple of hours working on a bed next to the walled garden.I should have take the before picture as it was so bad yu couldn’t actually make out that it was a bed. I only managed one side and filled the garden bin, good job it gets emptied tomorrow.Have been sitting with my little friend again, she has become a real lap cat!
Going into Driffield with Darren and Tina tomorrow as they are both at home. Then Darren is off to work on Wednesday, Tina is off to spend time with the nuns, and I will be seeing the painter get started n the windows.
It’s good you get the hearing aids adjusted like that. Have you actually noticed a difference? I bet it would feel odd not having them now.
ReplyDeleteI do like that jumper and can see why you liked it too. I can imagine the price! Maybe you’ll win the lottery this week 🙂
The bed you sorted out today does look good, and I can imagine how it looked before as I know what those pesky weeds are like in your garden! I’ve not had a hyacinth in the house for ages. I love the smell of them. I’ll have to look out for one when I go to Blue Diamond this week.
Another day out tomorrow. It’s getting regular. Is it just a suck it and see day, or is there a specific reason for going? Either way I’m sure you’ll all enjoy it. Lunch in a garden centre maybe and a few plants to bring home 😂
Good luck with Wednesday, or maybe Thursday or even Friday 😂🤣
There was a huge outdoor fern in that bed which had fallen across the path, among other things. It really needs to be moved so maybe I will dig it up next time I go out.
ReplyDeleteDarren has his flu injection booked in Driffield so as we are all at home it she’d like a good idea to all go.
Hopefully no more delays with the painting. But I won’t be convinced until he actually arrives!
