This morning I went to the workshop armed with my design and not oodles of confidence. Just had cut the circle for me and had left the green glass out as she knew I intended trying to do a plant image. I got on pretty well with the cutting today and only used the grinder on one of the large leaves. I am really pleased with the result, I can collect it on Friday.
I went to the shop after the workshop and then after lunch I went into the front garden to tidy the main bed and gravel path. I worked for over an hour and did get half a dozen plants in as well. I was struggling with the bending and the pain it was causing so that was it for today. It was quite breezy but a lovely evening. Sitting with Pandora now. Will try and have a gardening day tomorrow.
You should have a lot more confidence in yourself. You’ve made a good job of each of the different designs that you’ve done there. I really like this one and I think you’ve done really well with the cutting. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished article on Friday too π
ReplyDeleteThe gardening that you’ve done looks so much better than it did. But it is very hard work, and as I keep saying it will be the death of you! More glass workshops and walks along the front are much better ways to spend your time π jigsaw puzzles are a good way to spend your time too, as long as they’re not too difficult!
Breezy or not, a walk along the front is a great way to end the day.
Have a trip into Hull tomorrow and do a bit of shopping. That’s definitely a good way to spend the day π
The workshop was enjoyable, I have another one booked in November so will have to get my thinking cap on.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have that front bed looking tidier as lots of people stop to look at the house and it looks better if the bed in front of it is tidy!
The walk by the front was indeed a nice way to finish the day.
