I don’t know if it was sitting around yesterday or sleeping in the rocking chair last night, but I have been achey today but not the legs, just everywhere else! I pottered a bit , got some washing done and cleared the jigsaw away, then chatted to Anya. I decided to have a walk to the front and had pensioners fish and chips and a cuppa.
I had a slow walk home and then sorted out a 500 piece jigsaw I hadn’t done and started finding the edge pieces. I went into the gardens for a while putting half a dozen plants in the front and the back garden. I also dug up three tiny hollyhock plants that had appeared in the front garden and potted them. I am hoping they are from seeds of the black hollyhock that died. I just took one picture out there.
I made a start on the jigsaw, this one will be fairly easy.
Will finish with some pics from the Tina, the had a walk around the Berwick walls today.
Wouldn’t it be nice if just occasionally you didn’t ache anywhere? Can’t be too much to ask can it?
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice at the front, and even better with a portion of fish and chips! One of these days I’m going to get fish and chips from somewhere and hope I still like them. It’s been such a long time, but there’s nowhere close to me these days. It looks a nice day in your pics. It’s been a good day here today, not that I’ve been out in it at all. It’ll rain tomorrow because I’ll probably go out.
I bet it felt good putting the jigsaw back into its box? 🦊 The new one seems to be going together much easier 🙂
I thought you’d end up doing way too much in the garden today, aches or not, so it’s good to hear you’ve actually had an easyish day. The hollyhocks have a fighting chance if you’re looking after them. You do well reviving plants and growing them on. It’d be nice if you could bring the black hollyhock back 🤞
Tina and Darren look like they’re enjoying their time away. The weather looks good for them. Must be a bit chilly there or the coats wouldn’t be having an outing
It would be nice to not have aching parts, but it has Ben a long time since I enjoyed that luxury!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very nice day, but there wa a bite to the wind, definitely getting autumnal.
I have grown some of the seeds that I gathers from the black hollyhocks last year, so hopeful they will make an appearance next year.
Yes, looks like a good start for the holiday makers.
