Fused glass and visits

I went to collect my fused glass piece before I went to see Bel, I couldn’t wait to see it and I knew she would be interested. I am really happy with it so need to start planning what iwilldoat the next workshop in November, need to challenge myself a bit more!

Bel was okay and had finished the very difficult round jigsaw she has been doing for a few weeks now. She left it out for me to see and was gong to pack it away after I left.
Tina had been out in the garden cutting back more brambles, she had filled the large bag again so we took it straight up to the tip before we had lunch.
I walked to Jeans and took a few sea pics on the way. It was looking lovely today and nice clouds too.

Jean was feeling quite positive, they are about to down size as their house is huge and a bungalow would be nice. I could see a faint rainbow while I sat talking to her, you cannot really see any colour but Tina sent me one this evening from the car as she was out with Darren.

Tina had started sorting mountains of books, mostly religious that people give to her.so we went to the tip again as they have a container for books.
Quiet evening now, as working in the shop tomorrow.
Almost forgot the last photo!

  1. The fused glass looks great. I can see why you're so happy with it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the next workshop.
It sounds like Tina is really getting into the gardening now. You'll have nothing to do soon 🙂
It does look a really gorgeous day there. It's been nice here, but I think the sky looks lovely up there. Very deserted though.
I can see the colour in your rainbow pic, mainly the cyan, but yellow and red too. Tina had a better view of it 🌈
I forgot you were shopkeeping tomorrow. I hope it's not too busy, but not dead either. Enough to keep you active and not bored 🙂
I've had lots of big spiders appear in the flat lately, I think it must be the weather bringing them out.
Enjoy your quiet evening, assuming the cat has the same idea.

  2. The cat has been out, no doubt will be wanting a lap when she comes in.
I have really enjoyed doing the fused glass so will definitely try to plan something different for next time.
It did look lovely by the sea today, and great weather although the wind is getting a chill to it now.
It is usually that busy in the shop, but I will have lots of plants to water!
