This morning we went to the boot sale as usual. I got an apron for 20p, no pic of that but it is a wipeable one rather than material. I like the cloth ones but they get really mucky! I also got two lovely specimen vases to use for my hydroponics, they were £3 and two necklaces for 20p each.
I spent some time upstairs as I needed to clear away from all the preparation for the sale and put everything away again. I went down to get some tea and Tina asked if I wanted to join them for fish and chips by the sea. We enjoyed then and then Darren drove us to Mappleton. A lot of pics, took a long time to catch that seagull!
A good set of bargains from the boot sale today. You seem to do very well every time you go. It’s just a knack you’ve got I think 🙂
ReplyDeleteI’d quite like to have a go at the archery myself. Not too sure if I’d manage to hit any targets though! That string looks very close to Tina‘s glasses. I’ll probably end up whipping mine off if I wasn’t careful 😊
It was nice that you actually got out for tea and for a ride round.It looks really nice from the pictures. The ones of Darren and Tina together are also really nice.
I quite like the middle one on your design sheet. None of them look easy to cut out of glass though! I’m looking forward to seeing it 😊

I do pretty well at the boot sales and trying to resist things that I really like but don’t need.
ReplyDeleteIt was really nice to go out for tea and have the trip to Mappleton, in a morbid way it has been interesting watching the coastal erosion, very sad but also fascinating,
I do think the photos of Darren and Tina came out well.
Will probably do some more sketch ideas tomorrow and then make a decision for Tuesday.
