Pandora like to stretch out on my lap and down my legs, rarely curled up like most cats. Is he often digs her claws in when she starts to slip, I have the marks to prove it. She did the same yesterday evening and when I tried to move her she ran off and then I realised that I was bleeding and it was pumping out of the tiny pin prick of a hole. She had obviously caught a vein or something. I shouted for Darren and Tina as I of blood! After wrapping it and putting pressure n for a while it stopped and Tina put a plate over it. They put salt on the blood n the carpet but sadly it hasn’t touched it, it did move some.
Shame about my nice rug!My trousers took the brunt, this was the water when I asked them!
Definitely enough excitement for this week! This morning I filled a couple of troughs with complete st and planted sme lots Linda gave me and some hollyhocks that I grew from seed.
Then I spent an hour or so sorting out the greenhouse so that I have space for things I want t over winter n there. I had let it get into a dumping ground the bind weed runs riot in there and I removed a lot of it and the roots from along the outside of greenhouse and it goes underneath.
I picked some of the sunflowers as the plant was falling over.We went for lunch at the garden centre as I wanted t buy a couple of trays to go under the troughs. That was all I bought.I did go out in the garden for a hour or so again this afternoon and did some hoeing and cleared a bed that was full of weeds and dead headed the dahlias so hopefully they will have some new growth.
Will finish with a picture of the rest of the family, including Pandora at the jigsaw!
Pandora has been on my lap for a while this evening but luckily kept her claws to herself!
It's surprising how much blood can pump out of a tiny gash. good job you had the other two there or you'd have been spreading it everywhere. Maybe one of the proprietary cans of carpet cleaning spray might shift the stains?
ReplyDeleteIt didn't injure you enough to stop you gardening I see. The sunflowers look really nice in that vase. You do get your monies worth from them inside and out. Another trip to the garden centre. No plants this time though 🙂
You all get pleasure from the jigsaws including the cat! She's safer there than on your lap, that's for sure 🙂
It was odd as I didn’t realise I was bleeding until I looked down! I have a bottle with a sponge on top which was great on a coffee stain when I spilt it on the carpet, but it didn’t touch these stains. May try another one.
ReplyDeleteMade a start with the garden which was good, rain forecast tomorrow so may not get out there.
Tina was doing bits of the communal jigsaws while she was away and has a bit more time at the moment.
