I went to see Bel this morning, apart from being achey she seemed fine.
When I came home I got ready to catch the bus to Sigglesthorne to the garden centre as it was their Christmas display launch day. They were offering 15% discount to loyalty card holders on all Christmas merchandise. I didn’t buy anything from the display but took some photos, one of an autumn display first.
A pic of the three plants, I did get the them in the ground along with four others.
Christmas…..humbug! Gets earlier every year. A lot of the shops in town have loads of Christmas stuff. I try to ignore it. The only thing I like about Christmas is the cake 😊 They do put on some pretty displays in the garden centres though.
ReplyDeleteThat road is a nightmare and you’re not even safe when you get in the bus stop. Hopefully that’s changed now.

The displays are good but it is way too early. Bring back the good old days when Christmas didn’t appear until after firework night!
ReplyDeleteThe rail at the bus stop was still in tact today, but it has been hit several times. The road was quite busy today but a safe gap appeared eventually!
Strictly was good but not many good dances, will be interesting to see how they improve.
