This morning I decided to go into Beverley on the bus and do tour of the charity shops to see if I could find a couple of bigger frames. There are a lot of charity shops and some had pictures with prices as high as £50. I did manage to buy one for £2 which might do for one of the pictures I was thinking of.
I must have missed the news or something because Smiths is now T G Jones! When did that happen?
The guys who mow the lawns had arrived just before I left for Beverley so I went round the garden when I got home, they made a good job of the lawns. Took a pic of my favourite bonsai trees, the deciduous one is beginning to look autumny.
I decided to try the other tow charity shops in Hornsea, one was closed and I did find a frame in the other one. So I framed two nudes! I actually think these are both pretty good drawings.
Even if you didn’t get exactly what you wanted, the trip into Beverly is still good. When you speak of Smiths, you’re not talking of W H Smiths I assume?

It’s a shame you only have guys to do the lawns. It would be really nice if you had guys to dig, we’d and water too 🙂 Although we have had a bit of rain lately. You should stick to the bonsai. Nice size, reasonably easy to keep and definitely easy to water!

The shop was WH Smith’s and the sign inside said it would still be selling WH Smith’s favourite items!
