Jean is having trouble with back pain. She enjoys coming to me as she has family staying long term while work is done on their flat, they have a dog as well, so she is happy to come to me for a bit of peace and quiet! Terry, her husband does a lot of whittling and sent a Santa Christmas ornament for me. He is a very talented man.
I haven’t been out at all today, tried to feed the birds but only did half a job, hopefully fill a few more feeders tomorrow. The leg isn’t good, slept on the recliner last night and will probably sleep there again tonight,
Jayne came to mow the lawns today, I asked if she could stay for next hour to get the plants put into the beds for me, but she hadn’t got time today.
I have started a 1000 piece jigsaw for a change so will do it downstairs on the large dining room table. Good picture, I think my sister in law bought it for me quite some time ago. I have only done most of the edge so far.
Bit of tv and maybe reading this evening.
It’s nice when people visit. I know you’d love to get out yourself, but hopefully it won’t be too long before you can. Having said that it sounds like Jean was more than happy to visit you 😊 I love the Santa. He does some great stuff. You have so many unique Christmas ornaments including all the ones you made too. But it’s definitely not time for them to go up yet 😂
ReplyDeleteShame you can’t feed the birds as you’d like to, but I’m sure they’ll be happy as long as they get some food. You’ll have to drag a member of the household out there with you to lend a hand. Well actually lend their legs to fetch and carry 😊 Looking on the positive side, the bird food will last a bit longer than usual 😊
The jigsaw puzzle looks like it’ll be more fun to do than the roses one! But that’s not hard I suppose.
Hope the rest of the evening, with the feet up proves to be a bit relaxing for you.
A fairly quiet day really, was a pity that the flowers remain in the pots, but you never know, I may suddenly be racing around the garden tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI think the Santa is great, I did think about whittling a while ago, but never really got into it.
