Not a big spending day, in fact a 50 p day! The cd has various female artists, the card collecting books brought back memories of my children collecting cards from PG Tips! The book Darren went and got for me so that ai had something to read when I had done all the walking I could manage!
Darren drove back via the sea where we had a drink before coming home.
My leg has been very sore today and feeling like it was in real danger of giving out, so haven’t been in the garden, not even to feed the birds.
Managed some chores and getting dinner plus some jigsaw, but a lot of sitting with feet up as well.
I have friends hoping to come up for a visit in the week so hopefully will feel a bit more able to get rooms ready etc tomorrow!
That’s a lovely car. I’m not surprised he’s pleased with it, I would be too. He’ll have to wash it regularly with it being white 😊 It’s good you got out for a ride this morning. Worth it just for the ride in a posh car and a sausage bap 😊 Some good bargains there for just 50p. There’s not a lot of new stuff you can get for 50p these days, not even half a stamp!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a bit misty by the sea. We were quite lucky and had some sunshine this morning. But your drink by the sea was probably a lot better than mine in the middle of town.
The leg must have been bad if you didn’t feed the birds. I know how you enjoy feeding them every morning. Hopefully it won’t be long before you can get back to it.
I wouldn’t worry too much about getting lots done in readiness for the girls. They’ll be happy to take things as they are. Be nice for you to have guests. Lots of chatting in the evenings I’m guessing 😊
It was quite a grey day, but not cold.
ReplyDeleteThe leg has been a pain, literally, but fingers crossed it is a bit more comfortable tomorrow.
Fabulous car and very comfy too.
I think the book will be a good read.
