Goodbye and rest the leg!

This morning Michelle and Julie went for a really early walk and managed to catch the sunrise.
When they got back they had breakfast and then set about packing for their journey home. But they did find time for us to have a photo in front of the jigsaw. They have taken one of the 500 piece puzzles home with them.
I went over to the bus stop with them and saw them off. They had a good journey and got back without any trouble. I then walked down to the cash point near the Coop. I really struggled with that short distance, very lucky that I had a better day on Thursday as I certainly wouldn’t have got round the animal park today!
So, I have done a lot of sitting today but the pain hasn’t got a lot easier. I do hope that I can manage a bit of a walk in the morning if we go to the boot sale.
When we went to Freeport yesterday Darren got me this pack, nice and sensible, will take a photo when I open the up!
Not sure whether I will sleep on the recliner tonight. Probably will even though I would like to be in the bed, but is the leg is painful while I sit here that doesn’t bode well.

  1. That’s a nice sunrise pic! Hopefully you’ll be able to get there again to take some of your own before too long.
I do like the picture on that jigsaw. Seems a shame to have to break it up. Seems you’ve started them off on a new pastime 😊 Glad their journey home went without a hitch. I’m sure you’ll be getting another visit in the not too distant future.
You really aren’t having much luck with the leg. Maybe the walking at the animal park has made it worse for today. Who knows. There seems to be so many variables it’s a job to know what to do for the best. I do hope you make it around some of the boot sale tomorrow 🤞
Darren does spoil you. Perfect gift though 😊
Well I hope wherever you and up sleeping that you get a reasonable night. As you say though, it’s not sounding promising at the minute.

  2. Could do with a good night as I am tired and dropping off. So all things crossed!
It was great to have the twins stay and hopefully they will come again now they know the journey,
