This morning Darren took me to collect the new sewing machine. I also bought a new quilting ruler as Tina's was a bit narrower that I needed and I had a mishap with one piece of material yesterday evening. After we had got the machine into the car we had a little wander into town as Darren had managed to fine a parking space. The plan now is to get all the cutting done this evening, successfully! The sky was pretty last night, you just have to ignore the aerial, which is easier said than done!
I haven't set the machine up yet as a certain spoilt cat has a new favourite place to sleep, on a towel, in the sun, on my craft table!
A lot of the daffodils in the front have died off now, but a few of these gorgeous ones are just opening.
This afternoon I had decided I would try and finish the jug ready for glazing and firing. As I passed the craft shop I could see there was a problem. Poor Sandra, the false ceiling has started to cave in and she was having to clear everything out. I have brought the bits I had in there home. the craft evening will  be off now for a couple of weeks at least, but the quilting will go ahead in their pie shop next door. I did go over to the studio and finished the painting. The colour really hasn't gone on well so it will be interesting to see the result at the end of next week.

I did a bit of gardening in the front this afternoon and put in a few seeds. May try and get a bit done in the back tomorrow.
