This morning Darren and I went to the boot fair the other side of Cayton Bay. It was freezing cold, the wind was absolutely bitter. But we got a few bits and enjoyed it anyway. They put up a bouncy castle and also had a pony that later gave rides. Never seen that at a boot fair before.
Last night I managed to get all the quilt pieces cut, and with a helpful second opinion from Tina pieced them into blocks. Meant to take a photo, but forgot, but these are the materials which will make up the quilt.
I wanted to have another go at making a cushion with a concealed zip, I bought a zip the other day and had spider material that I have had in a box for years I think. Make it with the new machine so that I could get the feel of it.

I have some tulips that I think I bought at Easter. They lasted well, but have died, but they still look attractive so haven't binned them. Tina thought they looked like orchids and challenged me to paint them. So I did!
Sorry about the sideways photos, haven't worked out how to get them the right way!!
