Last night Michelle and I went along to the craft class, my stuff is still at the shop and Michelle's is not on the way home. Bright today and the wind not so strong, so we headed off out on a bit of an adventure. We walked down to the seashore and caught the open top bus along to the spa end. From there we walked along, and up, to the clock cafe and had a drink, then made out was up the very high cliff at that end. We started on these steps.
Then we took to the 'disabled access path'. Very steep and no railings but better than more endless steps! Pictures of us both sitting to enjoy the view, not because we were tired of course!!
Then a picture of South bay from a different angle.
We carried along the cliff top and over the spa bridge into town. We went into the charity shops and had lunch at Boyes. In the town centre there was a different living statue.
We walked back to the cliff top and went back down to the south bay on the tramway.
We walked a little way along the bay to a bus stop and caught the open top bus back to our end of the north bay. Then got ourselves an ice cream and walked along the lower part of Peasholm park so that Michelle could see the open air theatre. Then home through the park. We had a couple of hours indoors then Tina took Michelle back to the station and we went to Tesco for a bit of Easter shopping. Really lovely visit with Michelle here, she did find it cold but the sun was out so we were lucky really.
Looks and sounds like you both had a hoot of a time, I'm sure Michelle enjoyed her visit with you although cold. A EASTER she will remember. Xx
