Last night was the first quilting session. Very interesting but my fat quarters were short so that I could not cut all of the pieces I needed from one quarter. Another lady had the same problem. I got the hang of the cutting out though so helped Sandra so that the tutor could help the other ladies. I took this photo on the way home, looks a bit like a Turner moon but is actually the sun!
Today is Darren and Tina's wedding anniversary and the painting I was keeping quiet about last week at the studio was for them. Can show it now as they have the plate!
This morning I collected a parcel at the post office, the replacement 3D pen, then walked on to Sainsbury's and did some shopping. I had called in at the sewing machine shop on my way to get some blades for a  cutter, some material to fill in the gaps I will have in the quilt and a zip as I intent to make another cushion and see if I can really conceal the zip! I was tempted by a sewing machine that was on offer and the same make as one I tried at the community centre yesterday. The lady also said it would be perfect for quilting, so said I would have a think about it. This afternoon I went off out, called in to see Sandra and the shop and ended up helping her to cut out her quilt pieces. Then I called in at the studio and did a bit more to the jug. It is not painting well, but I am persevering.

I thin walked up to the sewing machine shop, had a demonstration, and then bought one. Darren or Tina will collect it for me tomorrow, hopefully. And finally, yeah, the forget me nots are definitely going to be pink!!
