I had what I thought was a brainwave for the button workshop as I will need to have selections of buttons on all the tables. I found some plastic ‘party Susan’s’.
I was wondering how I was going to transport them and Tina suggested I used coin bags from the bank. A good idea so I went to the hub Bain this morning to get a bundle of then.
When Tina went out Pandora was interested in a plant and was happy in the flower bed.
I sent most of the day in and out of the garden, mostly strimming and battling the undergrowth and doing the lawn edges.m getting better at doing then with the strimmer but did some with the edging shears as well.
I tried to book a place on the yard/garage sale being organised by the WI on line but it didn’t go through so I went to Sher’s shop to collect a form. She told me turn out for the mayor making but it went well.
I took a photo of the daisies on the lawn as they will be mown tomorrow, but they soon appear again.
A bit of tv now and then out to water the gardens.
So you’ll be hobnobbing with the Mayors plus one. Get you ๐ You’ll be ok if there’s anything you need the mayor to get sorted for you! Sher’s chain is pretty posh too.
ReplyDeleteThe Susans are a great idea for the buttons. Coin bags are a good idea from the Rev too. Between the two of you, you get most things sussed ๐
It’s definitely a cats life. It lays and suns itself while you get hot and achy working out there! It’s coming on though. A lot of people don’t like daisies in their lawns. I think they look great, dandelions too. Plenty of colour, bring it on ๐
I like the daisies in the lawn as well, they soon pop up again after the mower has cut them down. It has been a good year for the dandelions, they are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteSher will do to some events with her mum, Sher’s daughter will go to some of them instead.
The cats seem to be attracted to that plant in the front bed.
