We came back and Isobel joined us to have a trip into the city. There was a man playing the bagpipes whick Anya doesn’t care for but I quite like them.
Then we went to The Dice Box, a board game place. It was great, you could eat there as well and there were a great number of games to choose from.
We had a couple of hours there and before we came back Isobel wanted me to try a bubble tea. It was different but I did quite like it. Sucking up the tapioca pearls through the straw was strange!
We have watched a film and had a lovely dinner and now just relaxing. I am staying another night here.
Looks like a nice day. Aurora looks very happy having the whole park to herself, and humans to keep her amused 😊 Definitely a nice morning for it.
ReplyDeleteIt’s unusual for the bagpiper to perform just there. He normally sets up outside the Queensgate entrance near McDonalds. I like the sound of bagpipes too.
I’ve never been in the Dice Box. I used to go in there a lot when it was just an ordinary coffee shop, but that’s quite a while ago. It’s a good idea though if there’s two or three of you.
Bubble tea is a bit weird. I tried it and I have to say although the concept is odd, it actually tasted quite nice. May try another at some point.
You’ve had quite a good time down here. Shame the days go by so quickly though ☹️
We thought she may be disappointed when there were no other dogs, but she had great fun giving us the run around with the ball.
ReplyDeleteI think the board game place was a great idea, and it was encouragingly busy.
I would try the bubble tea again.
