I chatted with Anya and did some chores before getting lunch. I did go in the garden and tidied the min bed in the front and got all but one of the plants in there.
Providing the little while allysums take it should look pretty. Then I went to see if the bed I couldn’t get the fork into yesterday was better as I watered it last night. I could get the fork in. But it turned out to be a job you wish you hadn’t felt inclined to do! Every dig produces more roots!
This was the garden bin when I’d had enough,
And this was the area I did and it isn’t clear of roots yet, you could say it is slow progress!
I love the mahonia when it has its lovely scented yellow flowers, but it is also pretty attractive with the berries and turning leaves!
I had a rest before getting dinner as I was feeling tired, not helped by the fact that I stayed up until the end of Eurovision!
After dinner I sorted out some stuff for the garage sale on Saturday as Pandora had decided to curl up in cat basket downstairs so I wasn’t pinned down!
Watching The Piano now and won’t be late to bed today!
Nightmare is the correct word, not in a hurry to continue.
ReplyDeleteI do have quite a lot of stuff and intend to let it all go very cheaply as the aid is to declutter, and if I make a few pounds that will be a bonus.
Enjoying watching these talented people.
