A productive day

I haven’t felt on top form today, everything a bit of an effort and quite achey but we went to Beverley, we went to a travel agents and I have booked tickets to go to America for Thanksgiving. Been a few years since I have made the journey. I also went to Seasalt and got a really nice rain coat, not cheap but will last me years. We had lunch at a little falafel place,  really lovely salad bowl, so tasty and healthy.
Tina took the car through the car wash on the way home which it interesting. The only photo from our outing was this crochet ice cream cone!
Some photos I took in the garden this morning.
The last pic is of the little cutting I have had for months in water and if you look closely I think it is getting a leaf!
A quiet evening hope to ease the aching!

  1. Well I hope having a easyish day today means you’ll feel better tomorrow. You’ve had a very expensive day then? You’ll enjoy going to America. As you say you’ve not done the trip for a while now. That’s the worst bit of it. Can’t you persuade them to move to France, it’s only an hour to get there?๐Ÿ˜Š I’m disappointed that you don’t have a pic on here tonight of you modelling your new coat!
That crochet ice cream must have taken ages to do. Looks great though. Crocheting must be a northern thing. We definitely don’t see much of that down here.
The plants in your garden look very bright and refreshed after a bit of rain. Hosepipes are ok for a while, but proper rain makes them perk up.
That definitely looks like a little leaf on your cutting. I think you certainly have green fingers ๐Ÿ˜Š
Enjoy a quiet evening and hopefully a decent nights sleep.

  2. I may try to get a pic of the rain coat tomorrow, and yes, an expensive day, but all good.
Rain does make a big difference to the plants, the foxgloves and opening up everywhere and the hollyhocks have got visibly taller.
The cutting seemed as good as dead for weeks, but little things like that please me.
