Long painting session

Yesterday evening I used some of napkins that Tina brought back from her cruise to decoupage the little square money box I bought last week.
This morning I had breakfast a Bemora with Angela. A package Ihad been waiting for was on the doorstop, but more of that later as Angela drove me up to Freeport to do some sample painting at the pottery studio. Rob was glad of my company today as the only other people I were a couple who just had a drink. I was over three hours painting a lantern. This one had a small crack at the top so couldn’t have been sold anyway. I put a single coat of paint on the inside and the. Two coats on the outer part and it was quite a big piece, so took a while!
When I got home I opened the package, I had sent for a pair of Crimpits.
Tina drove me up to Tesco so we could get wraps and thins. I tried the local shop and they didn’t have any. They didn’t have thin sat Tesco either, but did get some wraps and had one for my tea!
Heated it in the air fryer for three minutes, I had put in avocado, tomato mascarpone, some chopped rocket and a slice of thin ham. It hadn’t sealed perfectly, but practice makes perfect!
Will end with Cornwall pics again, may as well while I can!

Looking forward to The Traitors tonight.

  1. They look like nice napkins that the Rev brought back. Great for the money box. Looks good.
Quite a nice morning, breakfasting with a friend then doing a bit of painting. It’s good that you get to do their samples. Nice to do and no cost. Perfect 😊
I’ve never seen the crimpits before. I thought they were a craft item when I first saw them 😀 You do manage to find some very different gadgets.
    Hope Traitors was good.

  2. It was a nice day, used the stick rather than the rollator as Angela was giving me a lift and I managed reasonably well. Did buy another little box to decorate at The Works.
We are going to try the little square Crimpit today 🤞
