Back home I went out into the garden and thought I would make a start on the bed nearest to the house, will keep plodding away on the days I feel able to.
Have done a bit of painting this evening, the sweet corn. Not easy to see the detail, I hope the colour of the darker detail is dark enough. Will take it up to the studio tomorrow and I will be painting a barn owl sample. I think at least one of the samples I have painted has been fired, so will be good to see that.

Feeling weary again, but at least I am slowly getting bits done.
Looks like you've kept busy today, maybe too busy judging from the gardening you've done. It does look nice though. Let's hope the knee thinks the same and doesn't decide to punish you!
ReplyDeleteThe deer hitting Sher's car is a bit of a pain. It's surprising how much damage they can do. I know someone who hit a sheep and it wrote there car off too before walking away!
The sweetcorn doll looks very intricate. I can make out quite a lot if detail in it. I'm really looking forward to seeing them all finished. I think you're going to be really chuffed with them
A barn owl should be fun to paint. You're a glutton for punishment 🙂
Doubt I will do any gardening tomorrow so that should please the knee!
ReplyDeleteIf did clear some of the mess from around the outside of the greenhouse as well, sadly another dumping ground! But I am getting there, but by bit. Have just painted the final two, very small. So can take them with me tomorrow.
