What a difference a day makes! Yesterday was like mid summer, today definitely wet and autumnal! Not a big photo day to be sure. This morning we walked to town, I had a parcel to send off and another to collect that needed payment to collect. We then walked through the town in the drizzle and had coffee and egg custard tart at Boyes. The egg custard tarts there are the best ever, in fact I don't think you could ever get a better one. On the way back we detoured onto the top cliff road where I did take a couple of pictures of the North bay, this will show you what a change there has been in the weather.

I still love the bay whatever the weather, but certainly not a boat trip day! We came indoors for a while then we went to Deans garden centre where Mike enjoyed the savoury scone with Harrogate blue cheese and sweet apple pickle. It is always on the menu there and I have never seen it served anywhere else, but I think it is a great snack. The day has sort of been dominated by food today,we called in at Sainsbury's and got fruit for smoothies and cat food for the ever hungry Colonel!  Then this evening we had fish and chips before we watched It Takes Two!

  1. Considering the change of weather, it was still a good day. The scone with blue cheese was definitely one I'll have again!
