Today started wet, cold and miserable, a very grey day! Spent the morning trying to sort out cupboards etc and getting stuff ready for charity shop, boot sale or Ebay. I had let stuff spread a bit and really cannot afford to leave it too long as my little haven soon looks cluttered. This afternoon it brightened up so I decided to take a walk to the park and maybe feed some squirrels as I have had a bag of monkey nuts waiting for that purpose for some time. The parks and flower beds are kept beautifully here, this shield is just down the road.
The park was reasonable busy and it was still trying to rain when I set out. I went into the glen, which was lovely, I have seen it in summer, autumn and winter, and now I can enjoy it in spring.
That one could really be anywhere, just beautiful.
The water was higher than I have seen it before, so more dramatic. Not a lot of new buds yet but there are some signs of colour.
The winds have been fierce this winter and some mighty trees had been uprooted on my walk!
One more picture of the glen.
Walking back through the park there were some early tulips in the beds.
I'll finish off with an 'arty' shot through my rainy window!!
Really good photographs the Glen looks wonderful xx
