This morning I spent an hour or so cutting up a pile of branches that have been there after pruning last autumn. The bags for garden waste are very flimsy and tear easily, so I needed to make the branches into much smaller pieces. Then I took a bit of a walk through the park and the crocuses were in full bloom.
I walked onto the beach, the wind was so strong today that the dry sand was gusting over the wet sand.
I went along to the ceramic studio to help out as Sandy is at the big Russell Watson concert tonight. She sings in the local choir and they are going to be on stage for three songs. The Scarborough college were bringing 12 students in this afternoon and there were quite a few other customers in as well. I collected my pig bowl and am really pleased with it, Will be eating my porridge out of it in the morning!
I bought some cheap acrylic paints and had a go at painting the dead thistle type thing I sketched a couple of nights ago. I will try another painting, I collected some windblown cones today.
My legs were really tired after the standing around at the studio. Tina got fish and chips and we drove down to the front and ate them in the car and enjoyed the sea air and a natter. I took a picture of the sky before I went out, not the most colourful, but bright anyway.
