The weather first thing was awful and the pavements looked really treacherous, but by the time I went out at 9.45 am it had brightened up and the paths were not too slippery, but I used my over shoe grippy things anyway. I was covering at the studio while Sandy went on errands and she asked me if I would like to paint a sample while I was there. She handed me a large jug, as they haven't been selling too well. I painted the jug pale blue and then drew daffodils on as Spring is just around the corner!
The pencil marks will burn off in the firing and of course it will be shiny! I went off to the community centre for the button group. Only two ladies today and I spent the time colour sorting more of the button tin and jar. Linda finished her vase of flowers and it looked really lovely.

It is on quite a big canvas and she bought colours that go with her bedroom colour scheme. She is going to do a sausage dog next and Sue is going to have a go at a humming bird. Lovely ladies to work with. The weather is okay at the moment so will go along to the craft evening.
