This morning Rachel took me into Peterborough so that I could visit my sister. Two of the ares that know Margherita well met me at the door and were very excited that I had come. They came up in the lift with me as they wanted to see her face when I went in. Margherita was in good spirits and looked well. We chatted for getting on for two hours before I had lunch with her. A bit later my niece arrived to visit her mum nd and stayed for another hour or so with them both.
When I left I think I went a very long way round to get onto Lincoln Road where I could catch a bus.
This evening I went to a restaurant with Rachel and Skip and their children and their partners. Their grandchildren were there as well.
There were a couple of fun paintings on the wall opposite where I was sitting.
I will pack the case this evening as I am going back to Nyas tomorrow night after I have spent some time with Mike.

That was nice being greeted like that. I think Margherita is very popular amongst the carers there. Sounds like you both enjoyed some time together to put the world to rights ๐ It’s a shame you are so far apart now. At least Hornsea was a reasonably short trip compared to now.
ReplyDeleteThe meal out with Rachel and family was a big gathering by the sounds of it. Great for you to get to see them all together like that ๐
That week has gone really quickly as it doesn’t seem five minutes since you got here!
I’m looking forward to seeing you this morning. Then hopefully a restful night for you before the epic trip back up north!
It was a good day, was quite tired by bedtime though.
ReplyDeleteEleven of us at the meal so very lively with the youngsters, if was good though.
