I have done quite a bit of the jigsaw today, more since I took the photo.
I did get some washing done as I will be wanting to pack some of the things. When Tina had done the work she needed to do we went out and had lunch at Pitlochry dam, a very nice cafe there. Then we went to visit Tina’s aunt who was pleased to see us. I took one of the jigsaws we had finished and we got some cakes at the cafe to take as well.I made some phone calls this afternoon, to friends this time! Wrote a couple of emails too. My second collapsible stool arrived first one was only nine inches high, I couldn’t have lowered onto it and I certainly could not been ble to get up if I had! This one is needs a bit of a knack to it but it is funky!
One of the sticks/would be bonsai has shoots! Not easy to see against the brown of the dish.Tina had a n evening Meeting but was home before eight so we went to Perth for some shopping, I wanted to get some bits I needed to take away and to stock up a bit for Darren. We had some thunder this afternoon and quite dramatic skies on the way home. The last photo looked liked smoke but it was rising from a cloud!
Bedtime now!

The jigsaw is coming on. Will you finish it before you leave, or will Darren get the pleasure?
ReplyDeleteIt seems odd that a dam has a cafe. But it’s an unusual spot to have some lunch. I quite like dams, I really don’t know why. I think it’s because they are so large and the volume of water that flows over at times is quite spectacular. You certainly have found some great eateries since you’ve been there 😊
That is a funky stool. Very colourful too. What are you going to use it for?
If you can get a stick to grow, then I’m sure the oak will be ok. How’s it doing?
Sounds like Darren is going to be a little spoiled when he gets there. That’s good though 😊 It might encourage him to remember to look after the cat and bonsai!
Those skies do look great. You could easily mistake the cloud in the last one for smoke. Such brilliant scenery and skies up there.
Hope you get some decent sleep. You’ll need to be on top of things for your epic journey Friday!
I don’t think I will finish the jigsaw and Darren will probably enjoy doing a bit.
ReplyDeleteI want the stool to take out when walking in case there are no benches and to sit on when I want to do a sketch.
Everywhere up here seems to have a cafe, we went to a distillery last week and we noticed that the distillery in Pitlochry had one too. Very busy tourist area.
We got lots of things Darren likes to eat while he is on ct and bonsai duty!
Off to bed soon.
I should have realised the stool was for sketching, DOH! You certainly won't lose it 😊
